NEW SMALL BATCH BREWS
“Small-batch brews” means Aubie’s indulging her curiosity of what can happen when you set her loose in the kitchen. Every cool-weather season, you’d better believe she’s exploring to find the BEST combinations of oils, fragrances, shapes, textures and lather quality.
Small batches are made one pound at a time. They’re available in cupcake-sized rounds unless otherwise noted.

NEW Bayberry: A friend of mine suggested that I make something holiday-ish. I’m still toying with this recipe, but I’m thinking something along the lines of round shape and very emollient. Perfect for those days when you’re always washing your hands.

Mango Tango: Who doesn’t need a little whiff of summer during the long, winter months? Mango is a refreshingly fruity scent that’s tempered with a bit of amber to round it out, create some staying power…and keep it from getting too deadly sweet.
NEW Earth Mother: I’ve been trying to make this for years. It’s sort of like the shoemaker’s kids going barefoot all the time, but I keep imagining how the deep, woody tones of oakmoss and the bright, citrus notes of grapefruit together are going to give me some sort of scent nirvana. This is the year! I think.

Coffee Frothee: I’m stingy with this soap because it’s absolutely perfect for the kitchen and I haven’t been able to make it successfully in anything larger than one-pound batches. Strong coffee, coffee grounds and cinnamon essential oil combine to rid my hands of onion and garlic better than anything else I’ve tried. Someone else gave me a heads-up on how well this soap takes care of grease…and yeah, I’m hooked. You will be too, when you try it. If I part with any.

Keep watching for updates…and as always, if there’s a combination of things you’d like Aubie to make, contact her!
